I was at the game last night. Their didn't seem to be a lot of urgency by MSU. Wasn't a lot of energy in the building either (seemed like a regular season game). They needed a player or two to step up a make a play. Is this the night the team/program finally breaks the Final Five drought or will it be Groundhog's Day and same result as past 10 years?

Shane- considering some of the venues the NCAA has used for the regional match ups, do you think a new, bonding bill revamped VWC could potentially host in the future?

Might be too small for NCAA standards, but I think it would be perfect considering attendance at a lot of those arenas

In my experience, transportation to downtown is the biggest deal-breaker for students not attending hockey games

It's not a big town. And that didn't seem to be a problem 5-6 years ago when the section was full on a regular basis.

I'm guessing the Sunday game is a tough sell all over the place, especially if people travel for a weekend of games.

Sounds like a loss won't drop them far in the PWR tonight, but I don't think they want to take their chances sitting around next weekend.

Shane, I agree the final five would be a big deal. I think a lot of Twin Cities alums such as myself would be there Thursday (as was the case in 2000 and 2003)
