Yep. I was going to mention that next ... especially those momentum-killers. Last week at Bowling Green, MSU was up 2-0 with 90 seconds left in the first period, feeling good. Then a 5-min. major/game misconduct. Not only did BG score on the penalty early in the second but MSU lost Chase Grant for the game.
Also, believe it or not, Anchorage has the best power play in the league right now.
Agreed. These holiday weekends can be tough. But the truth is there are many weekends like this. Thanksgiving. Christmas break (before and after the holidays). Spring break during the playoffs. School has to do a better job of filling seats. Not sure what the answer is.

Lehrke makes the PP go, that's for sure. Couple of nice breakups by Anchorage on the kill or this would be a 1-0 game.

Fourth line is an interesting group. Jordan Nelson, Brett Knowles, Max Gaede. Lots of potential talent there. Knowles has 1 assist. Gaede has 3 assists.

That play started in the Mavs' D zone. Anchorage had a shot and Huggins left a big rebound. But a good defensive play by Lafontaine prevented a goal and the rush started the other way.

Looks like Ferris is about to win again. 10-game unbeaten streak now, doing what a lot of folks thought MSU was going to do this year.
